On November 1st, I officially open shop at: http: LydiasTreasures4U.etsy.com
I am so excited but very busy trying to get everything ready to go.

I've been creating jewelry, writing descriptions and taking pictures and more pictures
of each and every piece of jewelry. I am almost done with all the details.

Gotta go on account of having to do more work on my jewelry before opening
date.

Have a nice evening! :)

Hmmmm.......Missed my morning walk this morning. Just trying to learn the ropes of
how to blog on this site. Not that I have any problems talking or typing, but just manuevering around this site. Trying to get the settings, layouts and everything else set up.

Enjoying the Bible study I am taking at a local church. We are almost done studying a book
entitled: "Beauty by the Book" by Laurie Cole. It's about becoming a Biblically Beautiful
Woman and how to avoid being indiscreet, immoral and irritating. It's a reall eye opener and can really convict someone of their wrongs/rights and what to watch out for.

I also like to volunteer at a local school. I help children understand the work that they are assigned and I help them with any questions they may have regarding their work. Aside from that, I also teach Sunday school to 5th and 6th graders at a local chapel on Base.

I am so excited about opening my new Etsy shop in November of 2009. It is called: Lydias
Treasures 4U. You're probably wondering why I didn't put an apostrophe after Lydia. (I know I would wonder if I was reading this blog) Well, many websites wouldn't let me. In fact, many of the websites will not let you have spaces or apostrophe's when registering a business name, so there you go. Although it is grammatically incorrect, I had no choice. So, if you happen to stumble on my Etsy website, my business name will not have an 's.

I also love to make jewelry. Any kind to be exact.......I like to experiment with paper mache, cloth, buttons, polymer clay etc........I am inspired by seeing pictures, nature while taking a walk and even window shopping and seeing vintage items.....So many ideas.....But sometimes, so little time to do them in. That's why I write them down on my notebook. I hope to make them all some day in the very near future.

Well, enough of me. I've got to see if I can go and find some jewelry bargains and clean some house. Oh, and ready for dinner and kid's homework.

Goodbye, for now.
Lydia :)
